Effective Ways to Develop Positive Thinking
The best way to develop positive thinking is by being intentional about the lens we wear. How do you choose to view the world? Do things seem to never be going your way? Or are you able to see the many opportunities you are presented with every single day?
There was a study that focused on about 70,000 women between the years of 2004 and 2012. What they found was the optimistic seemed to have had a far lower risk of dying from the following causes:
- Heart Attack
- Cancerous Diseases
- Breathing Issues
On the other hand, we learn that with a positive attitude many benefits present themselves. We not only allow ourselves the freedom from these conditions, but we get to experience the following:
- A Quality Living
- The Purest of Energies
- Mental Stability
- Minimal Depression
- Longer Living
- A Life of Minimal Stress
Developing positive thinking isn’t something impossible. As a matter of fact, it’s attainable to s all. Regardless of where you are on your journey, it is available to you.
The only thing that dismantles us, isn’t the problem. Rather, it’s the way we perceive the problem and our inability to overcome it. At least, that’s what we tell ourselves.
But why not accept that the problems are manageable? Why not give yourself, through positive thinking, an opportunity? Why would you not empower yourself when the opportunity presented itself?

Good is all over no matter where you look. But somehow, the news tends to do a good job at identifying all the bad in the world. So much so that any good deed becomes an instant story of hope.
With a positive attitude, anything is possible. Life will serve you all the challenges you never thought you were ready for. But the truth is, that’s all a part of living. Nothing is ever really as bad as we understand them to be.
We are all in the midst of the solution to our problems. Where we allow our focus, is where we direct our actions. Through positive thinking, we see the opportunity beyond our problems.
Making bad choices isn’t what we fear. On the other hand, dealing with the consequences is what we fear most. But if you’re living in abundance, there’s a reason for that.
Positive Thinking Leads to Gratitude
When you think differently, you experience differently. And when you experience differently, a new world appears. Gratitude.
Who knew that with a little positive attitude that we would be able to tap into such a gift. I never knew how powerful it was until it changed the way I showed up in the world around me. I was not only grateful for everything in the world, I was grateful to have had experienced it.
So make it your personal mission to invest in those that contribute to that feelin. With a positive attitude, you come to appreciate those around you. When we do that, we invite their gifts towards us. The moment would continually present itself where I may share my gratitude with the presence of life around me. Therefore, acknowledging all of the amazing people that bring value to my existence.
The more you acknowledge you’ve been given the more you will find life gives you. Be positive and know that for you to develop positive thinking you have to be willing to let go. That’s right, letting go of what we want so that we continue to acknowledge the many we have.
